SEO Executive

Your mission
The SEO Executive is responsible for recommending on-site SEO best practices and supporting the content team to ensure all website content is optimised for maximum organic search visibility, as well as the more technical aspects of SEO. Based at HELLO! UK headquarters at WeWork New Kings Beam House, London hybrid role. 2 days office (Wednesday & Thursday) 3 days from home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization. Use the process to discover new content topics and optimise and rearrange existing articles. 
  • Plan an editorial calendar, informed by keyword research
  • Implement and execute outreach campaigns to maximise SEO growth
  • To help think of creative campaign ideas for the SEO/editorial team that can then be utilized to help build links and increase organic performance
  • Identify competitors and monitor their SEO efforts regularly, incorporating learnings into our strategy
  • Monitor, report and identify opportunities for improvements through SEO & content.
  • Identifying link building opportunities and other forms of valuable outreach
  • Stay on top of the latest SEO developments, advocating best practice and sharing your insights across the team.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve website effectiveness and overall performance. You are data driven, curious, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Report on site performance, onsite-optimisation and internal linking  


Your profile
A strong interest in online creative content and trends
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to use their own initiative
Tech savvy and passion for all things digital




Experience
1-2 years previous experience in SEO, preferably within publishing
Experience working with SEO tools to monitor site performance
Qualifications
Eligible to work in the UK 
Able to attend London office in person on Wednesdays & Thursdays
Knowledge of digital publications, outreach, SEO processes and reporting
Advanced numeracy and Excel skills
Good working knowledge of Google Analytics
