Your mission
This role reports to and supports the Head of Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition. Assisting with a full review of the existing magazine sales business, making recommendations to drive new customer acquisition and profitability. Responsible for design and embedding of systems and processes that will form the basis of the future success of HELLO!
Key Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition
  • Develop creative, digital first, marketing strategies & campaigns for both HELLO! and HFM brands
  • Achieve and exceed acquisition targets for subscriptions & newsstand sales
  • Work with 3rd parties distributing our digital editions to ensure maximum revenue
  • Agree the retail plans being implemented remain relevant and cost effective, amending where necessary in conjunction with Marketforce 
  • Drive a digital customer acquisition transformation throughout the business in order to ensure that the majority of acquisitions come through flexible, affordable digital channels. 
 
Customer Retention and Value Enrichment
  • Develop engagement and retention strategies to minimise churn and maximise lifetime value
  • Ensure that pricing is consistently monitored in order to maintain full file profitability
  • Implement strategies to move audiences from unknown to known, in order to drive engagement and propensity to purchase (repeatedly)
 
Operations
  • Ensure print run for subscribers & newsstand is accurate
  • Manage customer service and fulfilment bureau relationships
  • Maintain customer pages on both HELLO! And Hello! Fashion websites, including a CRO strategy to improve performance
  • Manage the reporting and budgeting of both titles for all customer revenues
  • Utilise LTV and forecasting models to determine how best to spend marketing investment
  • Liaise with the commercial team to ensure a linked up customer experience
  • Liaise with the editorial team to ensure a linked up customer experience
  • Working closely with ABC and MarketForce to ensure an accurate preparation and submission of the audited figures, with timely provision of all required information for the auditing process 
  • Prepare and communicate ABC performance reports for the Ad Sales and Insight teams, providing support material and agreed data metrics for presentations and marketing briefs
 
 
 
Your profile
  • Current Senior Manager/Head of role looking for your next challenge
  • Must have experience in subscription management as well as marketing channel management
  • Self starter, highly motivated individual looking to make their mark on an incredibly well known and respected brand

Experience
  • Must have been in senior manager or head of channel/marketing role for 2 years minimum
Qualifications
  • Team leadership experience preferable
