Digital Account Director

Your mission
This role is to drive successful implementation of HELLO!’s digital display sales strategy.  With a strong background in digital sales, this role will grow UK direct and programmatic display revenue across specific agency groups, clients and partners. As a senior manager you will be expected to support Senior management in performance reporting to the Head of Brand and be an example to the wider team for best practice and work ethic.
Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of your patch, manage and grow revenue by providing regular contact with your client base.
  • Secure and deliver existing and new agency trading partnerships.
  • Propose, pitch and close business for existing clients and manage pipelines.
  • Build agency and client direct relationships across all levels, with support from Management through regular client meetings, entertainment, and communications.
  • Establish new business through pitching our Premium Direct display and programmatic offering to the market and working collaboratively with the wider sales team and Ad operations manager to build strategies for clients.
  • Become an expert in all display and data products.
  • Work closely with senior management to drive display partner projects and strategic display innovations.
  • Be a role model to more junior members of staff and help senior management coach and develop them into senior members of the team.
  • Produce quarterly, detailed business reviews of your client base, report on both successes as well as challenges and include strategy to grow business out of specific patch.
  • Support senior management in presenting status updates to the wider business in sales meetings.
  • You will be able to update the senior leadership team on any business projects and/or sales performance against budget.  Be confident, concise, and accurate when doing so.
  • Represent Hello! and be an ambassador for the brand at industry events.
Your profile
About you:
You will feel confident pitching, presenting, and responding to briefs, all with a consultative approach. You have solid technical understanding and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our key agency partners.  A desire to work collaboratively with the wider sales team and business departments you will be looked on to coach and help develop more junior members of staff
Experience
You will already have a demonstrable track record in sales as well as an ability to build new relationships.
Qualifications
Desirable Attributes:
  • Comfortable using excel/google sheet formula and familiar with GAM.
  • Solid Client and agency contacts.
  • Up to date with market trends, new tech and efficiencies.
  • The ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
  • Proactive in suggesting new sales ideas or efficiencies.
  • A willingness to learn wider business demands and operational pressures and offer help and support when applicable.
