Your mission
As the Design Lead at Hello! Fashion Magazine, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision and tone of our publication across all platforms. You will be responsible for the design and layout of our print magazine, ensuring each issue is visually stunning and cohesive. Your expertise will extend to digital layouts and social media, where you will craft engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our audience.
You will lead the design team, setting high standards for creativity and excellence. Your keen eye for detail and strong sense of aesthetics will ensure that Hello! Fashion maintains a consistent and captivating visual style. You will collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and digital teams to produce a unified look and feel across print and digital formats.
Your role is crucial in maintaining the magazines reputation for high-quality design, making sure every page and post reflects the sophistication and style that Hello! Fashion is known for.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software is essential. You must be highly skilled in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, with the ability to create polished and professional layouts. Familiarity with Canva is also required, enabling you to quickly generate social media content that aligns with our brands identity.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the design and layout of Hello! Fashion Magazine, ensuring a cohesive and visually stunning publication.
● Design and produce digital layouts and social media content, maintaining a consistent visual style across all platforms.
● Set the creative vision and tone for the magazine, guiding the design team to achieve high standards of excellence.
● Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and digital teams to produce unified and engaging content.
● Research and select appropriate visuals to accompany articles, ensuring high-quality and relevant imagery.
● Create regular features and galleries that align with the magazines aesthetic and editorial direction.
● Monitor design trends and traffic metrics to grow the magazines visual influence.
● Represent Hello! Fashion at brand events, when necessary.
● Participate in social media content creation and contribute to magazine features as needed.
