Your mission
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Syndication Manager to lead our Syndication strategy and operations with a focus on the Apple News platform. This role is responsible for maximizing our reach, engagement, and revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of content management, digital analytics, and the Apple News Publisher tools and policies.
This role is full time with three days in the London office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

Key Responsibilities
Apple News- Develop and execute a clear strategy for Apple News to maximise readership, engagement, and revenue.
- Act as the company’s subject-matter lead on Apple News policies, best practice, platform updates, and performance drivers.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to optimise content, packaging, headlines, and imagery for Apple News consumption.
- Conduct ongoing A/B testing to improve CTR, follows, dwell time, and referral traffic to owned properties.
- Own Apple News performance metrics — UVs, Time Spent, Follows, CTR, page views, and revenue — providing analysis and recommendations to editorial and leadership.
- Oversee revenue forecasting for Apple News+ and support commercial teams with insights into performance and opportunity.
- Work in collaboration with editorial teams who already hold relationships with Apple’s Publisher Partnerships and Technical Support teams.
Syndication Expansion (across all partners)As the role expands, you will:
- Extend oversight to all syndication partners (e.g., SmartNews, Newsbreak, Microsoft Start, and others).
- Build and maintain best-practice guidelines for each platform, ensuring consistency across editorial and product workflows.
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and revenue across syndication as a whole.
- Manage pipeline reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking for the syndication department.
- Strengthen relationships with current and future syndication partners, identifying new opportunities and improvements.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on syndication performance, delivering clear, actionable insights.
- Identify and support new revenue streams based on platform innovation, editorial trends, and audience behaviour.
- Work cross-functionally with Editorial, Product, Commercial, Ad Sales, SEO, and Engineering teams to support platform-specific initiatives.
